Finish the sentence

Outside my window... is Oyster's litterbox, drying after being sanitized, hehe
I am thinking... about all the boxes I'm going to have to pack and move and how much it's going to hurt my back. ugh
I am thankful for... LOVING friends and family who will hopefully help me move!
In my kitchen... is a glade melting candle thing that is making my place smell like cinnamon and vanilla
I am wearing... jeans, purple shirt, sunglasses (ready to go to Centerton to see this duplex if the dude will ever call me back!)
I am creating... a list of all the places I have to change my address with when I move!
I am going... to have to miss out on my Washington DC trip :(
I am reading... captions on the tv and the cookbook in my lap
I am hoping... for at least two really good snowfalls this winter!
I am hearing... my phone go off with a text message from Alex begging for a half day of vacation...
Around the house... are lots of memories and things I love!
One of my favorite things right now... is the number on the scale that keeps falling!
A few plans for the weekend... packing, moving all the garage stuff to Greg and Tonya's storage unit
A picture to share... A fabulous kitchen that I HOPE is the same in the duplex I'm waiting for a tour of!

Suggestions to help improve my allergies...

Some of these make sense, some are crazy, some are expensive and well... read for yourself.

* It is usually advisable to keep the doors and windows of the house closed, winter and summer, as this is one way in which you can have some control over the air you breathe inside your home.
...... Apparently you're supposed to lock yourself inside and never breathe fresh air?

* Never store anything under the bed
...... And waste that storage space??? Ok, actually right now I pass this one, only thing under my bed is occasionally Oyster and whatever he's holding hostage.

* Avoid lying on overstuffed furniture or sitting in stuffed chairs during the day.
...... But I guess it's ok at night? I think that means you can only have wooden furniture with no cushions to sit on?

* When possible, you should be out of the house during periods of house cleaning and for one hour thereafter.
...... If I had a husband I'd make sure a doctor wrote this on an official prescription pad and I have it framed, LOL. I'll be sure to blacken out the part that says If the patient has to do the cleaning, a dust mask may be worn, hehe.

* No pennants, pictures, or other dust catchers on the wall.
...... So I have to have a boring bedroom with no decor, and everything covered in plastic?

* Build a mud room if you don't already have one. Every family member can leave wet or dusty shoes or boots there without tracking dust, pollen or mold into the main living area.
...... I think my landlord would object.

* Dust mites, the microscopic creatures that produce dust, love carpet, so use hardwood, laminate, or vinyl flooring wherever you can. You can accent the floor with washable throw rugs. If you want to use carpet, choose a low-pile instead of a higher-pile carpet.
...... Dear Salvador, don't mind the mess, I'm just replacing all the carpet in my duplex with expensive hardwood flooring. And let me know when you've paid the bill, please?

* Keep your house's décor simple and easy-to-clean. Store collections of small items behind a glassed-in curio cabinet to cut down of the amount of dust these items can gather.
...... Apparently this suggestion is for those that can afford such cabinets??

* Did you know that pets kept primarily indoors will carry less allergens and dust on them than those kept outdoors?
...... Score one for Oyster!

* Bathe your pets once a week to reduce dander.
...... Sorry kitten...

* Keep clutter off the floor of your closet so that you can mop or vacuum it.
...... I'm sorry, do you not know what the purpose of a closet is? TO STORE THINGS

* Store books or collectibles in other rooms. If you need to keep CDs, tapes, stereos, televisions, or stuffed animals in the bedroom, put them in drawers or closed cabinets.
...... "Hey honey, where's that love songs CD?" "Um... 2nd drawer on the left, with my panty hose"

* Stuffed toys in children's bedrooms can be sterilized by putting them in the freezer at frequent intervals. Dust mites can survive in cold areas for quite a while, so this method may not kill the existing dust mites, but it'll prevent them from reproducing.
...... Still trying to figure this one out. But umm... my freezer isn't big enough to hold the bear I snuggle with, lol.

* Mold spores and dust mites—which are a natural part of the environment—live by the millions in carpet, as well as in bedding, drapes, upholstered furniture or anything else that’s “nice, warm and fuzzy,”
...... Anyone wanna buy like 50 blankets that are "nice, warm and fuzzy"???? Wonder if I can stick them in the freezer and make them cold and fuzzy? Would that help?
